Family

I have been working on a series of Family Portrait paintings for several years, from photographs of gatherings and events, where we all attended together.

The gathering I have chosen for Nostalgia, combine two such occasions, and the overlapping of the two pairings of paintings, create a pentimento effect, the over layered paint alluding to the overlapping of the years, erased and revealed.
